    Thanks for confirming that my connection to DOVE-net worked and pointing out that my local network IP is in the signature.

    i had a dialup to telnet gateway for 6 years. 2 people used it a few times. ---

    It is nice having a modem again.. a well worn momento from the past.

    I just gave away my collection of about 6 external modems (even
    a life-time replacement-worthy US Robotics 56K Business modem)
    to someone.

    It goes in bursts here. I'll go 6 months without a dialup user, then one month I'll get a whole bunch of people calling in. This month happens to be one of those months, last week I had 6 new users, 4 which were on dialup.
