    Hello,
    I'm setting up a BBS for local access only. No Fidonet, No FTN's.

    I have Message Bases with Sub-boards set up and working ok. I'm unable to get Internet Email setup and I cannot find anything in the Wiki to guide me along.

    Is there a way to setup Internet mail without Fidonet.

    Internet mail and Fidonet are two separate things.. You don't need one for the other. For internet mail to work, you'd typically just need the SMTP port (25) and POP mail port (110) forwarded to your BBS machine from your router. However, some ISPs block port 25, which can pose a challenging. There are SMTP port redirection services you can use to redirect port 25 to another port on your system so that you can receive SMTP mail.

    Yes, there is no connection between email and fidonet. All you need to do is setup your mail server settings (mail-> settings from synch control panel) and either setup a relay to forward incoming to your bbs or enter mx records in your dns settings. While you can send direct from your bbs, you probably want to use a relay on outgoing too, or everything is just going to mark or block you as spam.
