Do you mean BinkIT? Yes, it's used for both sending and receiving. https://wiki.synchro.net/module:binkit

Yes, the listener is setup in services.ini. If you run "jsexec binkit install" it will add the listener and timed event for you.

BinkIT can also have a binkps listener (if you want it) and it can connect to other binkps listeners if you set "Implicit TLS" to yes, also in the binkp settings of your linked nodes.

Whenever I try to load config from the control panel of sbss I now get a error msg saying error 2 executing "onf.exe C:\sbbs\ctrl".

Any help out there to fix it? I see no such file. Thnaks in advance.

What is onf.exe? I still have a backup of my Windows Synchronet setup, and I didn't have an onf.exe in my sbbs\ctrl directory. Also, I don't think there should be any executables in sbbs\ctrl.. That directory is for configuration files & data. So I'm wondering if onf.exe must have been a 3rd-party utility you got from somewhere else?

Sounds like you changed File->Properties->Settings->Config Command. The default is "%sscfg.exe %s"
