I had a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid that got great mileage,, but someone rear-ended me and I had to replace it. I needed something that can be flat-towed (4 wheels on the ground) and the options were limited.
I ended up purchasing a 2025 Ford Escape plug-in hybrid which is rated at 103 MPG overall when fully charged and a full tank of gas.
When I use it for short drives in the City, the mileage registers as 99.9MPG (I think this is the max that the gauge can read) but it is well over 100 MPG.
Yesterday, I did a day drive and the mileage did drop to 78 MPG, but overall I love this car.
It is a full-sized vehicle that seats 5 comfortably with all the bells and whistles.
I wish that I never had to consider buying another vehicle, but this for me was a great choice.
