Never heard of "Good Lovelies"; are they local? What kind of music? (I know you well enough to presume it's not rap *LOL*)

I've hgeard this about celebs out of their normal habitat. . .

That they're generally decent people & not all diva-like, & usually near nothing like their key roles. . .

I've never met a celeb -- doubt I'd recognize even the most famous omes if I met them & even shook their hand. Well, the lovely ladies I have my low-key celeb crushes on, maybe, & maybe those with a most distinctive physical aspect/look (e.g. Tony Randall, if he's still among us)

I very raely learn the look or names of movie, music, or tv delebs. . .

I'm most intgerested in their output.

I might learn a name just to look up more from their videography, but that's rarely on their looks, & more on acting ability, even so, I'm just focused on matching the name. . .

Always a disappointment to find out, occasionally, that an actress I like the overall look of, is only a young teen, dressed & acting like an older woman. I give kudos to her being able to act in a role she's not yet lived/experienced, but then my interest wanes. . .

Never met one anyway, so no biggie. . . I watch the stuff I've seen them in & enjoy the show itself. . .

Telegram is a message app for for iOS/MacOS/Android/Win/Linux:

    Info=https://shrtco.de/tpJ9yV

Combined with the creative genious of the fellow operating a
Fido node in Russia: Stas Mishchenkov (2:460/256), a curated
selection of echos are traversing between Fidoland and the
    Telegram system.

Just install Telegram (you will need access to a smartphone
that accepts SMS for activation - but it *doesn't* have to be
your smartphone particularly) and then send the command %HELP
to the entity @Fido2telebot. If you send the coommand %LIST,
you will get a list of all echos available, including the
Russian ones that Stas' is supporting in his own native
language. You should be able to recognize the English ones; the
tagnames are the same as used in Fidoland.

They present folky contemporary material. And.. you are quite
right about my attitude about rap. The only rap tune that I
*do* still admire in a musical way is Gangsta Paradise by
    Coolio.

Perhaps most of them appreciate not being noticed in the public
when they just want a "normal" outting to shop or run an
    errand.

I can still only count on my hand the number of celebs that
have dropped in to my shop: Lloyd Robertson (CBC/CTV
newsanchor), Ed Robertson (singer/songwriter of Barenaked
Ladies), one of the Good Lovlies, ..oh, and perhaps a few
federal politicians that may have visited the area in the past.
