    Indian Pudding

    2 Eggs
    6 c Milk
    1/2 c Molasses
    1/4 c Brown sugar
    1 ts Salt
    1 ts Cinnamon
    1/2 ts Ground ginger
    1 c Yellow corn meal
    1/4 c Butter

    In top of double boiler set over hot water, beat together eggs and
    4 cups milk. Beat in molasses, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and ginger, and
    cook until sugar dissolves. Add corn meal and butter and cook for
    20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in
    remaining milk and pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 325?F for
    3 hours, or until pudding is firm.

    Serving ideas:

    Serve hot or at room temperature, with vanilla ice cream
