      Title: Hearty Pork & Black Bean Nachos

      Yield: 10 servings
 
      4 oz Bag beef jerky
      3 lb Pork spareribs; in 2-rib
           - sections
     60 oz (4 cans) black beans;
           - rinsed, drained
      4 c  Beef broth
      1 c  Chopped onion
      6 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled
      4 ts Minced garlic
      1 ts Crushed red pepper flakes
           Tortilla chips
MMMMM--------------------------OPTIONS-------------------------------
           Shredded cheddar cheese
           Sour cream
           Thin sliced green onions
           Pickled jalapenos
           Chopped tomatoes
 
  Place beef jerky in a food processor; pulse until finely
  ground. Place ribs in a 5 or 6 qt. slow cooker; top
  with jerky, beans, broth, onion, bacon, garlic and
  pepper flakes. Cook, covered, on low 6-8 hours or until
  meat is tender.
  
  When cool enough to handle, remove meat from bones;
  discard bones. Shred meat with 2 forks; return to slow
  cooker. Strain pork mixture; discard juices. Serve with
  chips and toppings as desired.
