      Title: Italian Sausage Egg Bake

      Yield: 12 servings
 
      8 sl White bread in cubes
      1 lb Italian sausage; casings
           - removed, sliced
      2 c  Shredded sharp Cheddar
           Cheese
      2 c  Shredded mozzarella cheese
      9 lg Eggs; lightly beaten
      3 c  Milk
      1 ts Dried basil
      1 ts Dried oregano
      1 ts Fennel seed; crushed
 
  Place bread cubes in a greased 13" X 9" baking dish; set
  aside. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat
  until no longer pink; drain. Spoon sausage over bread;
  sprinkle with cheeses.
  
  In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and seasonings;
  pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  
  Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  Bake, uncovered, @ 350-|F/175-|C until a knife inserted in
  the center comes out clean, 50-55 minutes. Let stand for
  5 minutes before cutting.
