      Title: Dr. Pepper Brownies
 Categories: Cookies, Bars, Chocolate, Nuts
      Yield: 15 servings

      1 c Butter; melted
    3/4 c Baking cocoa
      2 c Sugar
      4 lg Eggs
      1 c A-P flour
      2 ts Vanilla extract
    1/2 ts Salt
     12 oz Semisweet chocolate chunks
      1 c Chopped walnuts
    1/4 c Dr. Pepper soda

  Set oven @ 350ºF/175ºC. Coat a 9" x 13" baking dish with
  cooking spray.

Place melted butter in a large bowl; add cocoa and stir
until well blended. Add sugar; mix well. Add eggs, one
at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour,
vanilla, and salt; stir just until combined. Stir in
chocolate chunks and nuts, if desired. Add 1/4 cup Dr.
Pepper and stir until well combined.

Line your baking vessel with parchment paper with a
couple of inches hanging outside the rim so you can use
it as handles to lift the baked brownies out before
slicing. Spread batter in baking dish.

Bake about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean. Let cool, then cut into
  serving-sized pieces.
