MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Creamy Beef & Onion Pasta

      Yield: 6 servings
 
      3 c  Uncooked spiral pasta
      1 lb Ground beef
    1/2 sm Onion; diced
      1 c  Heavy whipping cream
      1 c  Milk
      1 oz Env onion soup mix
    1/4 c  Shredded Gruyere cheese
    1/4 c  Shredded Swiss cheese
           Chopped fresh thyme; opt
           Green onions; opt
 
  Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. In a
  large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high
  heat, breaking up beef into crumbles, until meat is no
  longer pink and onions are tender, 5-7 minutes; drain
  and return to the pan. Stir in cream, milk and soup mix;
  bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered until
  mixture thickens, 8-10 minutes.
  
  Remove from heat and stir in cheeses and cooked pasta.
  If desired, serve with thyme and green onions.
