MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Mussels Pasta w/Tomato Sauce
 Categories: Seafood, Pasta, Chilies, Vegetables
      Yield: 2 servings
 
     12    Mussels
    225 g  Pasta
      3 tb Tomato puree
      3 tb Olive oil
      1    Onion; diced
      3 cl Garlic; minced
      1 tb Red pepper flakes
      1 c  White wine
      1 cn Tomato puree
      2 tb Butter
      1    Lemon
           Handful parsley
 
  Wash the mussels and set aside.
  
  Add olive oil into the pot over medium high heat.
  
  Add onions, garlic, red pepper flake in and cook it for
  about 2 mins.
  
  Add tomato paste cook until it's split and soften.
  
  Add white wine in and stir well.
  
  Add tomato puree in. Add a bit of salt. Simmer this for
       10    mins.
  
  Cook your pasta, if the pasta says 12 mins then take 3
  mins out of it, cook for 9 mins.
  
  While the pasta is being cooked, put the mussels into
  the sauce pot. cover the lid and cook for about 3-4
  mins.
  
  Remove the mussels off the sauce pot and add the pasta
  into the sauce pot continue cooking for the rest of the
  min of the pasta. if the sauce is not enough then add a
  bit of pasta water into the sauce pot.
  
  When it's about to done, add 2 tbsp unsalted butter into
  the sauce pot.
  
  Squeeze the lemon juice over the mussels.
  
  Serve.
