      Title: Mexi Chicken Soup
 Categories: Soups, Poultry, Chilies
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      1 qt Chicken broth (2 cans)
     15 oz Can black beans
     15 oz Can golden hominy; drained
           +=OR=+
     15 oz Can cream-style corn
      1 c  Bottled salsa
      1 c  Bottled nopalitos; drained
           +=OR=+
      1    Sweet green pepper; in
           - strips
      4 oz Can diced green chilies
      1 tb Chilli spice mix; (Mexene)
      1 ts Ground cumin
  2 1/2 c  Chopped cooked chicken
           Snipped fresh herbs (opt)
 
  In 4 quart Dutch oven combine chicken broth, black
  beans, hominy, salsa, nopalitos, undrained green
  chilies, chilli spice, and cumin.
  
  Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20
  minutes. Add chicken; heat through.
  
  To serve, sprinkle with fresh herbs.
  
  Makes 6 servings.
