    Hello Everybody,

    Democrats tried to kick him out of their party.
    But even that was not enough to get rid of him.
    After throwing in the towel before Al Gore even
    had a chance to speak, his own party chose to
    ignore him by attempting to close the door of
    the US Senate to him. But Joe had other plans,
    leaving the Democratic Party behind in favor of
    running as an independent candidate in order
    to keep his own seat.

    Joe Lieberman, co-founder of the No Labels
    party, is dead at age 82. The first Jew ever to
    run for vice president of the United States.

    May he rest in peace.
