    China and the US are talking in Geneva about the trade war they are currently waging together. Trump is talking about a 'complete reset'. Scott Bessent is talking about just a de-escalation. Either way, only Trump has so far made concessions first and solely. There's already talk from the White House about a 'deal'. From the looks of it, there seems to be no sign of that at all yet. Trump seems to be exaggerating enormously again.

    China is now exporting more to other Asian countries than it did to the US. The reason is clear... The goods will soon go to the US via those countries. Lower import tariffs apply in the US for the other countries.
