    Off the charts?? He took Tesla to where it is and the Board of Directors thought it would help the bottom line if he stayed.

    If people don't like this don't buy Tesla stock.

    Private companies who's primary objective is profit make choices based on that model.

    How ridiculous is it to award the CEO who has dragged the company up from near extinction to the world's most profitable, partly by preventing the Wall Street proxies from infesting the board with their short-term ROI as a goal.
