  • Yesterday in the US, the stock market was very optimistic.

    Prices rose broadly. Was it relief that the government is (almost) no longer closed? The question is whether the government is actually close to reopening. The House of Representatives still needs to approve the vote, and that would first have to be reconvened. The Republicans refused to do so, as that could also trigger a vote on the Epstein files.
