Baby steps... Recall the shooter, few months back, that was shooting elected officials in Minnesota... During his arrest he said Tampon put
him up to the shooting. He was going to run for office in the Senate because of the culling.
Tampon has since claimed that he's not going to run for office... Amy Klobuchar, the current Senator, is running for Governor and there is nothing stopping her form appointing Tampon.
BTW, the shooter has requested to talk with the FBI on the matter.

You still can depending on the school. When I was in public school, they didn't offer firearms training. But they did have archery. Today, many
of the "useful" classes are effectively banned in school. But in some areas, they offer firearms training in school.
You can still do that. That's common in da U.P. of Michigan.
