• RP zero W or Zero W 2 availability?

From Jesper Kaas@3:770/3 to All on Tue May 3 10:54:13 2022
Did anyone have luck in getting one recently (this year)?
I have 2 projects where a Pi Zero with wifi is the best (regarding
    size). One is a camera.
Al shops I have checked have zeroes listed as "out of stock", and I
have registered my email so I should be notified when available.

    Best regards

Last stock was 27 April according to this:

They have twitter and an RSS feed you can subscribe to.

I've bought both this year, from here: https://raspberry.piaustralia.com.au/collections/raspberry-pi-boards

Right now they have 15 Pi Zero Ws in Sydney, though no Zero 2s: https://raspberry.piaustralia.com.au/collections/raspberry-pi-boards/products/raspberry-pi-zero-w-gpio-reference

But you're paying extra for their GPIO reference card, and judging
from your email address I'm guessing you don't live in Australia.

Other stockists often have them in stock with more expensive, but
    more useful, extras bundled in.

Thanks for the info. Australia in on the other side of the globe from
where I live, so it might be expensive and or take long time.
I am in Norway, so I will stick to european suppliers.

Thank you for the super info. It shows that, among others, Pi-Shop had
some at middle of april. That is not so bad, so I will wait it out :-) Pi-shop is one of those I should recieve info from when zeroes are in
    stock.
I am not on Twitter, so I will rely on the notification from
    resellers.

Also there's https://raspberrypi.dk/ who ship to Norway* (and asked not to be listed on RPiLocator) - they appear to have some Pi 4 in stock, so maybe
they will get some Zeros in at some point too.

Great info Theo. Raspberrypi.dk has some very nice prices, so I will
check in regularly. Signed up to their newsletter, so maybe they will
send notice if they get Pi zero in.

I bought a Zero 2 W from The Pi Hut about two months ago. After some procrastination on my part, it's now running OctoPrint on one of my 3D printers.

Keep an eye on rpilocator.com to see when and where they become available.

(I think I'll use these instead of RPi 3s and 4s in my printers from now on. It's plenty fast, and a 4-pin header is all it takes to plug into a 4-pin
UART header on the printer motherboard to supply power to the Pi and get a serial connection that keeps the USB ports free.)
