I am over at my parents' place working on the BBS and I managed to get their IP banned in my system. I learned how to unban an IP in fail2ban today. LOL
LOL, done that to myself and blocked my ssh access, why I was
firewalling ssh from my net, I don't know. Had to put the Pi onto a monitor and undo the ban :)

Luckily I used my VPN to ssh directly into the box and tell fail2ban to unban it. You would not believe how huge my combined jails are in f2b.

f2b isn't too bad once you understand how it works but in order fore it to monitor MBSDE's telnet port, I had
Microsoft Copilot write the filter and jail for me. I am terrible with regex.
