Is there a version of squish for linux? I know there are DOS and OS/2 versions, but was not sure about linux.
I did a web search and came up with something called squish that is
not related to bbsing.
However, I remember it was quite buggy. It's not stable and hasn't
been touched in 22 years...did I mention it's only available in source
code?

That makes me sad. I have tried to make my website easy for search engines to >ndex it.
Isn't squish itself buggy though Sean? I can't remember.
IIRC, the last I heard, Squish seemed to be working but Max had some
serious issues like MEX not working properly. There's more but unfortunately that's all faded away over the past 20 years.
Yeah it's abeen a long time. I think honestly if I had the time to
setup a tosser other then built in ones, I'd go HPT and be done with
it. Has every possible feature. I'm just far too lazy and I have no
issues with postie.

I mentioned in the FSX support echo but haven't heard back yet. By
when I received messages from someone running Mystic and another
someone
running golded. Same two guys both times. Once their messages hit
the
message base, no other locally posted messages show up, and squish
will
stop finding the local messages too.

Also, my email is apamment AT positronicbrain DOT net, if you can zip
that stuff up and either send it to my email or upload it to my BBS
that would be great.

Did my message on fsx not come through? In case it didn't could you
please send me a copy of the broken squish base (both the sqd and sqi
files) and a copy of your message area toml file.
That's interesting, if you are able can you catch a packet from them?
Might be too much trouble, but would be interesting to see what's
different about that packet.
Also, you're running on raspberry pi right? is it just running raspbian?
what version etc?
It's weird because I'm running Postie & Talisman and am not seeing any issues, who is your fsx hub?

Strange. I'm using nothing but Talisman and it's internal tools and
things are pretty darn stable here. No issues with the messages at all. Before postie I used Fastecho which also worked. (Other then the bugs everyone knows about fastecho).

Pretty sure. I get replies and had a regular user who used to post a
dozen a day and they all got out.

I wrote a utility that does just that. Let me find the code and I can clean i
up and compile it for you. You want DOS or Win32?

This would be on armv71 linux. ;) I think I got it figured out now...
my brain, eyes, and fingers do not cooperate as well as they used to, especially late in the day. :D

Can you email me that in win32?
My solution is to use windows calculator, go into Programmer mode, then select HEX - enter the hex and it convers to decimal.
