    After I finished my BBS "Silent Chat" in 1995, I am even more pleased to be able to continue with this exciting hobby again.

    The new BBS is no longer running on a MS-DOS machine (back then I used the software Maximus) but on a virtual Linux machine. I have chosen Syncronet as the platform. Seems to be very up to date and is still being developed.

    And I am also connected as a Fidonet node under 2:31/124. I think that's okay for the beginning :-)

    Let's see how it develops further. I don't want to host files, but some games might be integrated in the next time.

    I simply run the BBS on my virtual server at AWS alongside some other applications.
