  • Mailing List on Gmane

    Apparantly the Tilde.Club mailing list was added to Gmane a few
    months ago: https://lists.tildeverse.org/hyperkitty/list/tildeclub@lists.tildeverse.org/thread/ET6QVVFG27HSEYWFLB6K3JB4CWFGW4RM/

    But gmane.org.clubs.tilde still doesn't exist on there, and I can't
    find it under another name with likely searches in the groups list.

    I guess maybe the list admin/s rejected the Gmane subscription?
    Perhaps adding a tilde.club.list group here and bridging it to the
    mailing list would be a workable alternative if they don't like
    Gmane?

    That would be good news, as a restart with a naming scheme that would
    fit all ~mailinglists would be nicer.

    It was me who registered that mailing list with Gmane,
    and back then it did work. I wonder if it was removed
    at request from the list admin because it started to
    receive Usenet spam.

    The silly newsgroup name of gmane.org.clubs.tilde,
    however, was no fault of mine. IIRC, my registration
    request suggested something like gmane.pubnix.tilde-club .

    Maybe we should look for a local ML<->NNTP solution.

    I'd sub all ~MLs if they were newsgroups "here" and reply if topics show
    up where I can add my 2ยข.
