If you're a cosmic.voyage user, you can now connect to this net news
network remotely using your system username and password. You were
previously able to connect read-only to cosmic.voyage (and still can)
without authentication. If you *do* authenticate, though, you will be
able to post as well.

You'll connect to port 563 via the "snews" protocol. If you're setting
up on a client like Thunderbird or Evolution, just tell it to use SSL
and port 563 and your user/pass and you should be fine. If you're using
slrn you may need to explicitly say snews://cosmic.voyage:563.
