Keyboards originally had no {0}[0].
I had such a typewriter too and remember typing {O} backspace {/} again
and again and ...
Yes! I typ(o)ed a lot about coding already back then in mechanical typewriter days.[1]
Now we have a {0}, but it is in the wrong place.
No, this is not the footnotes should start at {0} rant! This is just
about keyboardgraphy[2].
Look at e.g. Screen: {C-a} {1..9} gives window 1..9, {C-a} {0} right to
{9} better should select the 10th one instead of the 0th.
In Weechat {M-0}[3] selects buffer 10.
MC/Mcedit allows {M-0} to mimic {F10}.
Sure I know how to remap the {whatsoever} key left of {1} to yield {0},
but I've far too many papoys[4] here to fine tune all of them without
running into the next burn-out[9]. So this is not an option.
So what was this post good for?
I've no idea!
Ramen!
____________
[0]: Using {x} for keys to keep [y] free for footnotes.
This shall reduce confusion by at least by half a bit.

[1]: I'm not a grasshopper.
[2]: echo geography | sed -s 's/geo/keyboard/' ## ?
[3]: {M-} is {ESC} here, it may be {ALT-} for you.
[4]: ... or is "papoy" already its plural?
[9]: Maybe I really should stop (re)numbering footnotes manually!
