    Hi Shawn,

It probably wouldn't have lasted even 10 more miles. Steve got it
replaced yesterday, decided to check the 2 tires that were still
original with the camper purchase last year. Found one starting to
show a bulge so decided to replace both of those tires. Less than
10,000 miles on them so he's going to contact the NTSB about issuing
    a recall.

They must have been bad tires, that doesn't seem right at all. Glad
he caught them and you didn't have a bad experience.

I think it was a bad batch of tires; that's why he wants to contact the National Transportation Safety Board about a possible recall. We've been
at an RV/radio net rally in Pigeon Forge, TN but bugged out a day early
because of the hurricane coming in. Spending the night in a Cracker
Barrel parking lot, not luxury but a place to set up for the cost of a
    meal.

Time to add some super glue to the mix?

If you only knew how true that way.

And you've not gone to get it checked out yet? The longer you wait,
the worse the damages (to the leg and your pocketbook) are going to
    be.

I called my doctor. First time I got her she said she'd call back and didn;t. Second time I called I left a voice mail, that was 2 weeks
    ago.

My normal doc just had a kid, so I'm dealing with her replacment who
is working many clinics at the same time from waht I can figure out.
It's flu season so I really don't want to go to an walk in clinic and
    deal with that.

I can understand not wanting to get the flu but you need to get
something done about the leg. Guess that's part of the "fun and joy" of socialised medicine, glad we don't have to rely on that.

Yes I'd have left early too! ;)

We have private clinics as well. I just can't afford it, I work for a living so
I don't have any extra money. As it is I have to dip into a line of credit most
months just to keep a roof over our heads.

Sure glad I don't have to rely on only private clinics or I'd have been dead years ago. LOL

Will do; he will probably wait until some time next week to do so. He's
got cataract surgery Monday and we're still unpacking from the trip.

Quite a harrowing experience; Steve rates it just behind the trip we
made thru a blizzard in early 2013. Interstate 40 and all other roads
west of Asheville, NC into eastern Tennesee were closed because of rock
and mud slides on Friday; we drove thru the area on Thurday in heavy
rain. Got home yesterday, looks like Wake Forest just got wind and rain. Tornadoes touched down in several places in eastern NC, western part of
the state is dealing with heavy flooding. Do know that one other couple
from the rally got home (just above Phhiladelphia, PA) late Thursday
    night.

OK, I understand. We've gone thru some pretty tight times too, but in
our earlier years. Had some good medical coverage from where Steve
worked so major bills (and other, basics) were covered.

I like that--have to remember it and use it whenever I encounter a heavy smoker.
