Me also. The Clegg-Compo-Foggy trio is my favorite. The one thing I liked about the Seymour era was that it brought us the Pegden family, although Wesley had appeared a time or two before then.
Wesley reminded me of some actual mechanics that I have known. And Dame Thora Hird's character was the epitome of small town church ladies. Bv)=
They were both well played.
Good Neighbours (AKA "The Good Life") is available on FreeVee and Amazon's Prie Video. You'll probably recognise one of the main characters, Penelope Keith from the many other BritComs she's been in. Notably "Yes, Minister" and "Yes, Prime Minister".
That name sure sounds familiar. I may need to check that one out.
Shifting gears - which Doctor is/was your favourite on Doctor Who?
I'm tossed up between Tom Baker (my first Doctor) and John Pertwee, his predecessor. I think the show has displaced L.O.T.S.W. as the longest
running BBC program.
