1 c Cashew nut butter
1 c Vegetarian sausage mix
1 c Rolled oats
1/2 ts Mild Madras curry powder
1/2 ts Celery seed
1 tb Mugi miso or yeast extract
1 ts Thyme
Salt and pepper; to taste
1 ts Sage
1 tb Tomato paste
1 c Water; boiling
Mix nut butter with all other ingredients and pour boiling water into
the bowl, mashing it into the mixture until a thick paste forms, and
blending ingredients together well. Press the mixture into an oiled
5x9" loaf pan and bake at 300?F for 15 to 20 minutes. This can be
served with roast vegetables and gravy, or cut in slices when cold
and served with salad.
