2 c Thick custard *
1 c Cream
3 Very ripe bananas
Nuts; to decorate
1/4 ts Nutmeg
* In the United States the best brand, Bird's Custard, can sometimes
be obtained from good delicatessens. A Dutch brand, Honig, is also
available in well-stocked supermarkets.
Blend all ingredients in a blender. Alternatively, mash the bananas
and whisk them well into the custard and cream. Pour the mixture into
individual dishes and decorate with chopped nuts.
