Title: Pom-Berry Margarita

1 Lemon wedge
Coarse white or granulated
- sugar
3/4 c Pomegranate juice
3/4 c Silver tequila
1/3 c Chambord
1/4 c Pomegranate liqueur or
- raspberry liqueur
4 c Ice cubes
Pomegranate seeds and/or
- fresh raspberries (opt)
Lemon peel twists
Rub a lemon wedge around rims of six margarita or martini
glasses. Dip rims into sugar; set aside.
In a blender combine pomegranate juice, tequila,
raspberry liqueur, and pomegranate liqueur; cover. With
blender running, gradually add ice cubes through opening
in lid until mixture becomes slushy (blender will be
full). Serve immediately in prepared glasses. If desired,
garnish with pomegranate seeds and/or raspberries. If
desired, garnsh with lemon twists.
TO MAKE AHEAD: Prepare as directed, except transfer
slushy mixture to a freezer container. Seal, label, and
freeze for up to 1 month. To serve, let stand at room
temperature for 10 to 15 minutes; stir before serving.
Continue as directed.
