From Mike Powell@1:2320/105 to ALL on Sat Mar 18 09:20:00 2023
2016: Donald Trump manages to get elected. Democrats have a cow and point
to foreign collusion (specifically from Russia) which, among others,
supposedly takes form in social media disinformation.

Before 2021: Trump (and others) suggests that Tik-Tok, a Chinese owned company, should be banned due to the potential for foreign collusion in the form of social media disinformation. As a Chinese company, Tik-Tok
ownership includes the Chinese government and they have a heavy hand in
what views are, and are not, allowed to be voiced on the platform.

The peanut gallery has a collective freak-out. "How dare Trump threaten
our livelihood!" "They are trying to take our free speach!" "Trump just doesn't want us sharing our disdain for him - ORANGE MAN BAD!!!" etc, etc.

2023: The Biden Administration (and others) suggests that Tik-Tok, a Chinese owned company, should be banned due to the potential for foreign collusion in the form of social media disinformation. As a Chinese company, Tik-Tok ownership includes the Chinese government and they have a heavy hand in
what views are, and are not, allowed to be voiced on the platform.

The peanut gallery has a collective freak-out of silence.

    Hello Mike,

to foreign collusion (specifically from Russia) which, among others, supposedly takes form in social media disinformation.

Your hero, soon to become the first and only former president ever
indicted for real crimes. In two states, New York and Georgia. And his
excuse? He claims he cannot be charged with a crime because he is a
    candidate for president ...

    What a doofus.

    This is not true...

Correct -- his claim that he cannot be charged is not true.

The US is now a police state... We use to investigate crimes to fined
a criminal. Now, thanx to the Democrats, we investigate
political revivals and look for crimes. With respect to
the New York investigation... They are trying to make a
square peg fit in a round hole...

With respect to the New York state investigation where we might expect
an indictment very soon, the potential charge is exactly like ones that previous public officials have been charged and convicted. Further
more, the exact crime has previously been charged against a co-defendent
who was found guilty, while the indictment named Trump (via a pseudo
name) as a co-conspirator. He was not charged then because he was a
sitting President of USA. He no longer holds any public office and is
subject to justice the same as any other citizen.

Moreover, Trump's "crimes" are past the term limits.

Are they really? What is the term limit for the specific crime he is to
    be indicted for?

    With respect to the
Georgia phone call... I cannot wait to see this go. ... As
what I have heard is that Trump made a phone call telling
the Secretary of State to look at then evidence of fraud
during the 2020 election in his state... If Trump gets his
day in court he might be able to show this evidence as
discovery. It'll be interesting to see what happens...

Trump does not have to show it -- the world has heard it. You can
interpret any way you want, but the leading interpretation is that he
wanted Georgia SoS to create 11000+ votes, just enough to turn the
election into his favor. We'll see what the jury decides after charges
are filed. BTW, that is not the only phone call that will be in
    evidence.

I was listening to someone the other day talking about the current police
state we live in going back to George W. and where it expanded from there. It was Bush who implemented spying on Americans in the name of Homeland security. It ended up morphing into spying on a presidential campaign.

I never dreamed we'd be here...

It's been coming for a long time now.

Look how many institutions had to be subverted/ruined to get us here. That doesn't happen over night. It takes decades at least.

This is true... I was again recently listening to a constitutional expert talk on these so called "Institutions" and he said "Most", if not all are unconstitutional. No where in the constitution does it say IRS, FBI, CIA, NSA, HUD... and the Department of Education... the list goes on and and on. We went from a country where the federal government and the president of the US had a small footprint and was restrained by the people they represented. We started there and now you can get arrested and thrown in jail if you didn't vote the right way.

I was listening to senator Rand Paul read portions of a published essay from years ago.... IN A NUT SHELL... Davy Crockett had a go in politics when he was around... Apparently there was a fire in Georgetown that devastated the town and a lot of its residence. Congress voted for and funded a rescue packed, $20,000.00 to help the families of Georgetown. Apparently Mr. Crockett voted for this relief package.

The punchline... The voter told Mr. Crockett that he wouldn't vote for him again because of the lack of restraint he showed when spending other people's money.

This is interesting, we went from that mindset to the one politicians have today.... and that is spend spend spend...Send billions to other countries.. fund wars by proxy... the list goes on and on... This is not just one parties doing it's both parties acting in concert.

Our world and our country is sick and I hope we can pull out of it.

    Hello Joe,

Your hero, soon to become the first and only former president ever
indicted for real crimes. In two states, New York and Georgia. And his
excuse? He claims he cannot be charged with a crime because he is a
    candidate for president ...

    This is not true...

The crime(s) he is about to be indicted on are not dependent on
whether one is running for president or any other public office.

The US is now a police state...

That did not happen on January 6, much to orange man's disappointment.

We use to investigate crimes to fined a criminal.

That's what the DOJ is for. And why so many who participated in the
events of January 6 are now spending quality time in prison.

Now, thanx to the Democrats, we investigate political revivals and look for
    crimes.

Didn't take the DOJ long to find hundreds on January 6, bringing them
to justice for what they did.

With respect to the New York investigation...

State crimes, not federal. Means no president (including Biden) can
pardon Trump even if they wanted to. Not even Trump himself could do
so, even if he somehow manages to win another term as prez.

They are trying to make a square peg fit in a round hole...

Right now your boy is an unconvicted felon. Everybody knows he is
guilty, but the court of public opinion doesn't mean squat when it
comes to giving him what he truly deserves.

The fine people of New York and Georgia will change that.

Moreover, Trump's "crimes" are past the term limits.

The statute of limitations have not run out on any of the crimes
he is about to be indicted on, in either New York or Georgia.

With respect to the Georgia phone call...

Yes, it is all on tape. And aired repeatedly by the news media.

I cannot wait to see this go. ...

In Georgia, it is legal to record telephone conversations. Even though
the person Trump was talking to has died, the telephone conversation is
still evidence that can be used in court. In other words, Trump's goose
    is cooked.

As what I have heard is that Trump made a phone call telling the Secretary of State to look at then evidence of fraud during the 2020 election in his state...

The recording of that telephone call is evidence that can be used
against Trump in a court of law. Even though the Secretary of State
has died, the evidence remains. Please do keep up.

If Trump gets his day in court he might be able to show this evidence as discovery.

Trump will be indicted on multiple counts in the state of Georgia.
The foreman has said so in a public interview. As a defendant, he will
have the right to face his accusers. And answer all questions. Or be
a wimp, and plead the fifth.

It'll be interesting to see what happens...

He could always plead guilty (in both New York and Georgia) thus
    avoiding a trial altogether.

    For Life,
    Lee

I am still not sure how Trump paying hush money to Stormy Daniels is different than the Clintons paying hush money to one of Bill's targets... $800K+ worth. Last I checked, they are still wandering around unindicted.

You missed the important part of that:
    Clinton = Democrat
    Trump = Not Democrat

Oh I didn't miss it... there is some sarcasm in there somewhere... and I
also didn't miss that they paid Jones (or Flowers, I can never remember
which) 7 to 8 times more than Trump paid Daniels.

In our two-tiered system of justice, the Elitists don't have to follow the
    aw
but they will impose it on everyone else - especially those who oppose them.

I actually thought that this trail went dead once Daniels's lawyer, the
former Democratic presidential hopeful, was exposed as a fraud and got in trouble.

    lying.

I quote from the actual Mueller report, page 181:
    [quote]
For that reason, this Office's focus in resolving the question of joint criminal liability was on conspiracy as defined in federal law, not the commonly discussed term "collusion." The Office considered in particular whether contacts between Trump Campaign officials and Russia-linked
individuals could trigger liability for the crime of conspiracy-either
under statutes that have their own conspiracy language (e.g., 18 U.S.C.
    ºº 1349, 195l(a)) , or under the general conspiracy statute (18 U.S .C.
º 371). The investigation did not establish that the contacts described
in Volume I, Section IV, supra, amounted to an agreement to commit any substantive violation of federal criminal law- including
foreign-fnfluence and campaign-finance laws, both of which are discussed further below. The Office therefore did not charge any individual

It is clear that Trump orchestrated the events of January 6. Not the

got the ball rolling, and his speech earlier in the day that got it
all started. But as the DOJ had chosen to abide by an opinion that

    Hello Joe,

Your hero, soon to become the first and only former president ever
indicted for real crimes. In two states, New York and Georgia. And h
excuse? He claims he cannot be charged with a crime because he is a
    candidate for president ...

    This is not true...

The crime(s) he is about to be indicted on are not dependent on
whether one is running for president or any other public office.

Looks like the NY indictment is falling apart. A letter from Micheal Cohen's lawyer was released yesterday dating back to 2018 stating that Cohen used his own money and never was reimbursed by Trump... This was used during the Federal Elections investigation.

Bill Clinton gave one of his sex victims almost $1,000,000.00 while in office to silence her. Barack Obama paid a fine for campaign finance irregularities, no indictment just a fine. Hillary Clinton paid a lawyer to try to dig up crap on Trump, the infamous Steele Dossier, Whereby she tried to claim it as a legal expense to hide it from the public... She was made to pay a fine.... This is just recent history... No indictments... no raids... no perp walks ... no mug shots. no 7 year investigation looking for a crime.

The US is now a police state...

That did not happen on January 6, much to orange man's disappointment.

You should look up police state.... January 6th was the US governments first attempt at a staged insurrection. If those people were trying to overthrow throw the government... someone would have showed up with a gun... Instead the police department was opening doors and giving tours of the capital.

We use to investigate crimes to fined a criminal.

That's what the DOJ is for. And why so many who participated in the
events of January 6 are now spending quality time in prison.

The DOJ has not been doing their job... They have been investigating a man for 7 years looking for a crime... and haven't found one yet... They have been investigating parents who attend school board meetings ands calling them domestic terrorist... The list goes on and on... Current House of Representatives are holding investigations based on the weaponization of government agencies against US citizens.... DOJ is front and center.

Now, thanx to the Democrats, we investigate political revivals and lo for
    crimes.

Didn't take the DOJ long to find hundreds on January 6, bringing them
to justice for what they did.

Story is not over yet as 44000 hours of video was released to Tucker Carlson and soon to be released to the public. I think anyone who caused damage or were violent in anyway should be punished ... But it looks like the government may have been more involved then they let on. Recently it was found in the Proud Boy's trial that the FBI was not giving exculpatory evidence and they had been an FBI plant amongst the Proud Boy's defense team.

With respect to the New York investigation...

State crimes, not federal. Means no president (including Biden) can
pardon Trump even if they wanted to. Not even Trump himself could do
so, even if he somehow manages to win another term as prez.

I think, if they can muster up a charge, Trump would ware that as a badge of honor... Trump always says that the Deep State and Political Elites are after the citizens, not him, he's just in the way. This will only bolster his argument. I can't wait to get my Trump mugshot shirt.

They are trying to make a square peg fit in a round hole...

Right now your boy is an unconvicted felon. Everybody knows he is
guilty, but the court of public opinion doesn't mean squat when it
comes to giving him what he truly deserves.

Right now he's not a unconvinced felon... nobody knows nothing because
"normal" people wait for a trial to see the evidence and form an opinion from there... I'll still vote for him if he gets convicted... It's better than going with the current mess.

The fine people of New York and Georgia will change that.

Moreover, Trump's "crimes" are past the term limits.

The statute of limitations have not run out on any of the crimes
he is about to be indicted on, in either New York or Georgia.

The statute of limitations have been met with the NY case... misdemeanor is 2 years where as a state felony is 5 years for state crimes. This stormy Daniels thing dates back 7 years. New York's AG Bragg is trying to link it to something federal, not his jurisdiction... and because of this the US house of representatives are issuing a subpoena to NY AG Bragg to see if he's been in communications with the current administration....

With respect to the Georgia phone call...

Yes, it is all on tape. And aired repeatedly by the news media.

I cannot wait to see this go. ...

In Georgia, it is legal to record telephone conversations. Even though
the person Trump was talking to has died, the telephone conversation is still evidence that can be used in court. In other words, Trump's goose
    is cooked.

And soon the reason for that call... All the ballot harvesting... all the voting machine irregularities... all he discovery will be brought out... I can't wait.... About his goose being cooked... for the past 7 years that's all we ever heard... hasn't happened yet... All the liberals and liberal media salivating just oner more time....

As what I have heard is that Trump made a phone call telling the Secr of State to look at then evidence of fraud during the 2020 election i state...

The recording of that telephone call is evidence that can be used
against Trump in a court of law. Even though the Secretary of State
has died, the evidence remains. Please do keep up.

If Trump gets his day in court he might be able to show this evidence discovery.

Trump will be indicted on multiple counts in the state of Georgia.
The foreman has said so in a public interview. As a defendant, he will have the right to face his accusers. And answer all questions. Or be
a wimp, and plead the fifth.

It'll be interesting to see what happens...

He could always plead guilty (in both New York and Georgia) thus
    avoiding a trial altogether.

This is not Trump's MO... He's a fighter and a counter puncher... A trial is needed so we can see his evidence and the State's evidence... Micheal Flinn, as well as a few others, won their freedom after challenging the prosecutors and demanding the evidence they had against them... In Flinn's case things fell apart pretty quick.

I've bought popcorn and I'm ready to see what they have...

I personally don't give a shit what they are called or they call themselves... They are destroying the constitution...

Rather, they are destroying our society by ignoring the Constitution (except, of course, where it benefits them against their opponents).

    Your they = Maga Republicans.

The Elitists have been stuffing their operatives into positions of
power for a long, long time now.

That is what Mitch Miller and Donald Trump did, not just to the Supreme
Court but a lot of lower courts. At least a few of Donald Trump's
nominations to the Federal Bench were not qualified to be a judge of any
court, example the judge he picked to handle his classified documents
    appeals.

That's why I keep saying that this isn't a "Democrat vs. Republican"
or a "Right vs. Left" problem. This is a "Elitists who think they
should be the rulers vs. everyonen else" problem.

I wish you would define what you mean by "the Elitists". Every time you
use it, you then give what seems to be the playbook of the Maga
    Republicans.

This is true... I was again recently listening to a constitutional
expert talk on these so called "Institutions" and he said "Most", if
not all are unconstitutional. No where in the constitution does it say IRS, FBI, CIA, NSA, HUD... and the Department of Education... the list goes on and and on.

Yup. And the Legisltive branch has unconstitutionally ceded authority
to make law to these unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats.

None of them make law, that is up to the congress. They provide

Can you give me an example where the current administration is adhering
to the rule of law and the constitution.

Nope. It seems that everything they do is illegal.

Most of these institutions are unconstitutional anyway... But yes, they are subverting them...

You have things like the EPA - which is an unconstitutional instutition since they have the power to "make law" but they are not part of the legislative branch.

Then you have institutions like universities that have been subverted over the decades to turn out either incompetant "experts" or sheep who believe whatever the "experts" tell them.

Yup. And the Legisltive branch has unconstitutionally ceded authority
to make law to these unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats.

Yup... they should grow a pair and take back their power.

This is one of the complaints I had with my state "representative". When the Whit-less Tyrant here in Michigan illegally seized power, I contacted him to stop it. His response was along the line of "but the Governor hasn't authorized a meeting of the legislature." The idiot must have failed gov't class in high school because the Legislature is not "below" the Governor.

I know, or I have come to know.... Now here we are... US tax payers are funding countries all over the world and bailing out banks and doing
all kinds of things they shouldn't do... The contrast is huge.

That's because the Elitists use that as a way to funnel money to their buddies and then right back into their accounts. It's a graft and money-laundering scheme.

That's right, on the federal side the House was seen as the most powerful entity. Now the President seems to throw around so much power with executive orders and agencies making policies without the legislators legislating it.

The Judiciary Committee voted to approve Kavanaugh on September 28 after Jeff Flake, considered to be a swing vote, declared his intent to vote in favor of the nomination with the provision that there would be a new FBI investigation into the allegations by Ford. The investigation concluded on October 4. Two days later, Kavanaugh was confirmed by a 50 to 48 vote, and sworn in that same day.

We on the Right know all to well just how "unqualified" Kamala Harris is as VP I mean, she is not even a nice person, instead of being a VP for every American she wants to talk about racial equity with multiple situations including within the midst Hurricane Ian.

Speaking to actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas at the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum, Harris claimed that people of color and low-income communities are most affected by natural disasters such as Hurricane Ian. Because of this, Harris described how federal relief should be given "based on equity."

The Vice President declared, "It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making."

if that was not bad enough
Kamala Harris praised the brilliance and impact of Black Lives Matters protests, deeming them necessary in comments that led some on social media to slam her as insane.

You can complain about Donald Trump all you want, but in many ways these do-nothing politicians on the left is why Donald Trump was elected in 2016 and we have all seen the absolute a train-wreck of a disaster what has been before all of us, with what the Biden administration has been.

Abortion rights were never a protected constitutional right, to spite what these uneducated lunatics on the left think.

It is murder. All we hear about are insane examples & questions such as what if she was raped? I would wager that the majority of these women know full well and in advance what they are doing at the moment.

    When does life begin?
Why in some states they are killing the child upon birth?

What they lack is accountability & responsibility. Then claim it was a mistake. What they do not take into account as well as others complaining (sometimes w/ violence)
Is this simple fact their mother gave birth to them they did not whine or complain about their pregnancy, that it was a mistake and more of a importance as they did not choose to terminate the child.

The left says: it's a womens right to choose, but these same people can not define what a women is, if that is not bad enough these same people believe that a man can get pregnant.

There comes a time where the conversation ends as it is best to remain silent, because what this advocation is still considered murder.

    Hello Dale,

That is what Mitch Miller and Donald Trump did, not just to the Supreme
Court but a lot of lower courts. At least a few of Donald Trump's
nominations to the Federal Bench were not qualified to be a judge of any
court, example the judge he picked to handle his classified documents
    appeals.

Name a President that has not done this.

Obama was not allowed to nominate his choice for Supreme Court Justice.

The reason for this was due to US Senator Mitch McConnell's objection
that the nomination was made just before the presidential election.
However, the same US Senator Mitch McConnell had no such objection when
Trump nominated a rapist (Kavanaugh) to the USSC ...

Although all Presidents have the duty to nominate Federal Judges, most nominate qualified candidates.

Clarence Thomas was far from qualified. Brett Kavanaugh was also
far from qualified. And both were accused of being rapists, with one
of them publicly admitting to being an alcoholic.

Some of Trump's judges were more loyal to Trump than they were to the law.

Not all of them, as Trump has found out.

Biden (and/or Democrats in general) have abused the judicial system MP>a
lot lately so I see only poor examples coming from them.

I'd like to see examples of what you mean.

You missed the show at LSU the other day. Candace Owens was on stage
doing a live performance to the delight of students who did not have
a clue of who and what she was - until she opened her big mouth.

Barrett's primary qualification was that she was expected to vote to
repeal Roe v Wade (and she did do that).

If you read up on Roe v Wade, you will know that even liberal judges knew
the grounds it was based on were shakey. Democrats campained on that fact
for years, claiming that too many Republicans in Congress, a Republican for President, etc., would lead to its reversal.

With that in mind can you explain why, during times when the Democrats had enough votes, abortion rights were never signed into law?

That investigation was a sham. They did not even interview other
possible victims of Kavanaugh's behavior at the time.

It was a FBI investigation, you pick and choose when it
suits you, based on your political allegiance.

It was a sham, as directed by Trump's AG Barr.

It [abortion] is murder. All we hear about are insane examples &
questions such as what if she was raped? I would wager that
the majority of these women know full well and in advance
what they are doing at the moment.

I have two things wrong with that paragraph of yours. The first is your blaming the victim of rape for getting pregnant. But even more
egregious is your pushing your religion onto everyone else.

    When does life begin?

There is considerable difference of opinion on that.

Why in some states they are killing the child upon birth?

    Are they really?

The left says: it's a womens right to choose, but these

It should be. It is not right for a minority to push their religious
    beliefs onto them.

same people can not define what a women is, if that is not

What do you mean by that dog-whistle?

bad enough these same people believe that a man can get
    pregnant.

    Where did that come from?

There comes a time where the conversation ends as it is
best to remain silent, because what this advocation is
    still considered murder.

Perhaps it is considered murder by your religion, but not by a majority
    of Americans.

No I am not blaming anyone for being attacked in this vile way, but what I am suggesting that pregnancy due to being raped, is a very small number compared to those who act like they don't have a care in the world and get knocked-up like there is no consequence. (w/out decently as it considered, in or out of any religion. or without religion. It is not ok.

claiming stupid does not suit you, when there has been pundits on the left who have said that.

You're barking up the wrong tree, with that comment. (with you blaming me and my religion.) Taking the stance that it is me against the world. Not quite, not by a long shot. In fact it is more true that the majority of Americans + people around globe are repulsed by abortion.

    Hello Dale,

It [abortion] is murder. All we hear about are insane examples &
questions such as what if she was raped? I would wager that
the majority of these women know full well and in advance
what they are doing at the moment.

I have two things wrong with that paragraph of yours. The first is your blaming the victim of rape for getting pregnant. But even more
egregious is your pushing your religion onto everyone else.

Rape is a crime of violence, not of passion. The woman (or child)
who was raped is a victim, not a willing participant. It would be
criminal to force a woman (or child) who was raped to carry the
child to term - and worse to be forced to care for that child for
a lengthy period of time. Imagine a case of incest, the victim
being forced to give birth and care for the child until it is an
adult, the father of the child being a deadbeat dad and a ward
of the state being in prison for rape. Oh, those right-to-lifers
have an answer for that. ADOPTION!

    When does life begin?

There is considerable difference of opinion on that.

When egg meets sperm life begins. The only question is which sperm
is the winner, as all others are losers.

Why in some states they are killing the child upon birth?

    Are they really?

Infanticide is not the same as abortion.

The left says: it's a womens right to choose, but these

It should be. It is not right for a minority to push their religious beliefs onto them.

A minority needs protection. Unlike a majority which can do anything
it wants. But sometimes it is the other way around.

same people can not define what a women is, if that is not

What do you mean by that dog-whistle?

Milton Berle was a great impersonator.

bad enough these same people believe that a man can get pregnant.

    Where did that come from?

I have met two such people who not only got pregnant, but gave birth.
One was a 14-year-old true hermaphrodite who was a student, giving
birth to a healthy baby when he was age 21. He was engaged to a guy
in the Navy, but was not allowed to change his gender because he was
classified as a male on his birth certificate.

When I met him, he was wearing a pretty blue dress, playing with his classmates. He and his classmates told me he had both parts, and also
offered to show me. I took his word for it.

The other was a true hermaphrodite who had three children, being the
mother of three and the father of one. She told me she got herself
pregnant by mistake with her third child but her husband didn't believe
her as he worked offshore and consequently divorced her.

Some newspaper journalists wanted to interview her, but I thought
better of it to give them her name. Not sure if she would have wanted
    the attention.

There comes a time where the conversation ends as it is
best to remain silent, because what this advocation is
    still considered murder.

Perhaps it is considered murder by your religion, but not by a majority of Americans.

Thomas Jefferson was Episcopalian, but did not think of it as murder.
The idea of abortion as murder did not come about until the 1880's in
this country. The fundamentalist Christian view of abortion as murder
is not really Christian at all, but more of a bizarre ideology.

Health issues are matters between doctors, patients, and family.
When did such issues ever become a matter for politicians?
The mullahs of Iran have their own version of "morality police"
