    That's too much power! People will get killed for sure if they get zapped. I've been shocked by 110V before and it was bad enough.

    I'll not pretend that I'm surprised, that you don't know even basic electricity.

    A) It's not the V that kills you it's the A.

    B) V is not power, W is.

    C) You're not supposed to touch a live terminal. If you manage to, it's either a faulty installation, or you're stupid. Electrocuting you is beneficial to the human genome, thusly having you eliminated.

    Maybe you mean susceptible? Yes, it is smart for everybody regardless of the political system, to go from 200-300A installations to 25A *properly done* ditto. It saves a lot of copper -- and therefore money.
