    Hello Everybody,

With quarterback Aaron Rodgers out for the year with an
achilles tendon injury, Jets fans everywhere thought their
world had come to an end. Even though Zach Wilson did save
the night, allowing the Jets to escape with a win over the
Bills, thanks to a Jets player returning a punt in overtime
    for a touchdown.

However, Zach Wilson is no Tom Brady. And the Jets owner
knows it. As well as Joe Namath. So what is the solution?
Well, the owner reached out to Tom Brady and made him an
offer. An offer he thought Terrific Tom would not refuse.
And what kind of response did he get? "No way in hell."

Can't say I blame him. Tom already came out of retirement
once. And now, at age 46, he is not about to do the same
thing again. I mean, the last time he did a damfool thing
like that it cost him his marriage. No way he was going
to make the same mistake twice.

I am sure Joe Namath would do it, but lets get real. Joe
is the same age as the other Joe, who is president. And we
do not want any defensive lineman come smashing into Joe,
as I guarantee that would put a quick end to Broadway Joe.

So who do we have left?

Carson Wentz is still around. Not sure any team wants him.
But I am sure he would like to play. Even for the Jets.

Joe Flacco is also still around. A former Jet, he would
love to get his old job back. If only he can still throw
the ball, much less with any kind of accuracy.

Matt Ryan can throw the ball. Really far. What he hits
with the football is anybody's guess. But he can throw it.

Nick Foles. The only backup quarterback good enough to win
a Super Bowl. And then get traded to another team afterwards.

I am not even going to mention the quarterback once known
as Dilfer. Not sure what he is known as today, but it isn't
    nice.

We also have Drew Brees. But he is retired. Same as Tom Brady.
Except Drew is still married. And we know what his wife will do
if Drew goes back to playing football. So the Jets can forget
    about getting Drew Brees.

It is true the Jets have a backup quarterback to what they have
now. But let's face it. Tim Boyle will never cut it as a starting
quarterback. Not even sure if he can handle things as a backup.

    However -

While it might seem Jets quarterback choices are limited to players
who are old, broken, or combination thereof, there is one exception.

And that one exception has stepped forward, making an offer no Jet
fan, player, or coach can refuse.

    You heard that right.

    All is not lost.

There is an answer to all Jets prayers.

    Colin Kaepernick to rescue Jets.

    What a true American patriot.

And to think he made that offer on Patriot Day.

    That's right. 9-11.

The day we all remember oh so well.

Let's all take a knee, guys.

    In honor of our Flag.

    For Life,
    Lee

Good grief! And with Tim Boyle as backup? Good god almighty, even
the lowly Giants would run over the Jets.

    Hello Greg,

    [..]

The NFL has 32 heads, kind of like a hydra. Which one of those
heads even has a brain is anybody's guess. Which is why they have
a commissioner - to tell them what to do.

The correct answer is 3 - There is a Hydra that has 3 heads.

AFAIK, Gayle Benson only has one head. And that head owns two
teams - the Saints and the Pelicans. But only one plays football.

Upon further examination they are labeled much like the Democratic Party.

Yeah. Democrats are real Saints. Meaning Republicans must be Sinners.

    ignorance
    arrogance
    stupidity

Yeah. Right. Jesus knew what he was doing, riding to town
on a Jackass. The people cheered, threw him palm leaves, even
proclaimed him King. Even Herod gave him a kiss for all his
trouble. Or was that Judas? Kind of hard to remember who was
friend and who was foe back in those days ...

But who's this Aaron Rodgers guy?

Oh. Never mind that man behind the curtain. He's just an overpaid
39-year-old crybaby from New York. Used to be from Green Bay, but
he flooded the area and no longer had a place to stay.

You going to know who Aaron Rodgers is soon enough.

Not this year. The Saints have enough problems with their own
quarterback situation. Which may be worse than the Jets.

The beat down that he will bring as he stands over your player, who is on his back on the turf and looking up.

The Saints do not need Aaron Rodgers to beat them.
They did it all by themselves yesterday.
The Saints took the lead, 17-0, at halftime.
And then, as soon as the second half began,
Derek Carr went down with a shoulder injury.
In came Jameis Winston as quarterback.
And what did he do? Three and out. Three
and out. Three and out. That was the best
he could do. The entire second half.
The Saints third string quarterback suspended
for six games due to drugs, so could not play.
    Packers won 18-17.

How about a trade? Saints give Jameis Winston
to the Jets in exchange for Zach Wilson? Talk
about a real steal. Played for Florida State.
Won the Heisman Trophy. Paved the way for Tom
    Brady at Tampa Bay ...

Rodgers - "Say my name" how wonderful, that future will be.

Rodgers can do very little, except lie in bed all day watching
football games on TV. At some time, his therapists will get him
up and about so he can get his old legs moving again. But until
    then ... GET WINSTON NOW!

Remember your hate of Rodgers is all the fuel he needs to recover and once he returns you will see what he does.

With the Saints quarterback recovering from injury, and the
Saints backup quarterback unable to play worth a darn, along
with the Saints running back still suspended due to a fight,
the Saints have everybody where they want them. So. Bring on
the Bucs. Time for a showdown. Battle for Number One in the
    NFC South!
