Title: Dominic's Shrimp Pasta w/Clam Sauce

Yield: 8 Servings
1/2 tb Salt
1 lb Linguine pasta
3 tb Extra virgin olive oil
5 cl Peeled garlic; chopped
3 Long green onions; chopped
1 lb Extra large raw shrimp;
- peeled, deveined
4 tb Salted butter
1/2 tb Red pepper flakes
1/2 tb Ground black pepper
1/2 c White wine
13 oz (2 cans) minced clams
1/2 c Chopped parsley
Add salt to a large pot of water and bring to a boil.
Add linguine and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, al dente.
Meanwhile, in a medium sauce pan add olive oil, chopped
garlic and onions.
Saute for 4 to 5 minutes until they start to brown
slightly.
Add raw shrimp and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until they
turn slightly pink in color.
Add butter, red pepper, black pepper, white wine and
cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes until butter is melted
and coated on shrimp.
Add 2 cans of minced clams, cover and reduce heat to
warm sauce.
Drain pasta and pour linguine back into large pot.
Add sauce to pot, stir and cook together for 1 to 2
minutes
Serve in large pasta bowl and garnish with chopped
parsley
Yield: 8 servings
