MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: No Problem Pear-Raisin Bread
 Categories: Breads, Fruits, Nuts
      Yield: 2 Loaves
 
      3 c  Diced, unpared Comice or
           - Concorde pears
      3 c  Unbleached A-P flour
  1 1/2 c  Sugar
      2 ts Ground cinnamon
      1 ts Ground cloves
      1 ts Salt
  1 1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Baking powder
      4 lg Eggs
    1/2 c  Oil
    1/2 c  Light corn syrup (Karo)
      1 tb + 1 ts vanilla extract
    2/3 c  Seedless raisins
    1/4 c  Fine chopped walnuts;
           - toasted
 
  Preheat oven to 325-|F/163-|C.
  
  Spray 2 loaf pans (9" X 5") with a non-stick coating; set
  aside.
  
  In a large bowl, beat all ingredients with an electric
  mixer for 1 minute at low speed Be sure to scrape the
  sides of the bowl. Increase Speed to medium and continue
  beating for 1 minute more. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  
  Bake 60 to 65 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in
  center comes out clean, Cool 10 minutes in pans then
  remove from pans and cool completely before slicing.
  
  Makes 2 loaves 16 slices each
