Does there happen to exist a win32 or dos script to clean up incoming email from a windows email app? It's got a lot of garbage in it that plain text apps can't use.
Not sure what to do once mail gets to your app, but I used to use a
script called "procmail sanitizer" on a Linux host I used for mail. It'd
get rid of most attachment viruses, convert HTML to plain text and do a
lot of organization for me. It allowed me to check mail using PINE
nicely when I was traveling, and I could still read mail using IMAP on
Outlook if I wanted to when I was at home.
